On Friday, January 28, the Latin American Circus Federation Corporation elected its new board of directors, in a process that took place from 8 countries -Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico and Peru- and that counted with 100% participation.

Three days later, the Union of Independent Workers and Circus Artists of Chile also renewed its board of directors, with 83% participation from Chile, Bolivia and the United States.

Both elections were held for the first time by remote electronic voting, on the EVoters electronic voting platform, which allowed its members to vote from all over the world. “It is a debut both for them and for us, and providing our services to circus workers fills us with joy and pride; this is an organization with more than 86 years of experience and which, without a doubt, is very important for the culture of all of us,” said Rodolfo Álvarez, EVoting’s Assistant Voting Manager.
